Holger Rune talks about his ambitions

Holger Rune, Carlos Alcaraz

Holger Rune is very confident about his prospects. He believes that he will dominate the world of tennis alongside Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner in the next few years.

As per his accomplishments, Rune won his first ATP Tour title at the Bavarian Championships in April before making it to three straight finals and winning the Swiss Indoors in October. He also finished second at the Sofia Open and Stockholm Open. Yet his greatest accomplishment to date came at the Paris Masters, where he advanced to the final by defeating Wawrinka, Hubert Hurkacz, Andrey Rublev, Carlos Alcaraz, and Felix Auger-Aliassime. Afterward, he shocked tennis legend Novak Djokovic by winning his first ATP Masters 1000 championship.

During a recent interview, Holger commented: “One of the trio I hope to be me, then Alcaraz, who has already shown that he knows how to win Grand Slams, and finally Sinner. He has an incredible attitude. He looks like he’s been on tour for a lifetime, but he’s just 21, and every time he plays, he shows improvement.”
