Carlos Alcaraz was too good for Tommy Paul on Tuesday in Miami when he defeated the American player 6-4 6-4. Although both players played excellent tennis, Alcaraz ultimately prevailed. During their handshake at the net following the match, the two exchanged a few words, and the Spaniard was questioned about it by Tennis Channel’s Prakash Amritraj.

Carlitos revealed that they are friends off the court he was sure that they will have many more battles ahead.

“We are friends off the court. At the end of the match, he told me that I was too good and playing great, and of course, I told him that we have more battles, this won’t be just the second match we are going to play. So, hopefully we play a lot more matches,” Alcaraz commented.
