Great news for Del Potro’s fans as Juan Martin will play the Apia International in Sydney to try to defend his title.
In 2014 the Argentine demolished Bernard Tomic in the final with a telling 6-3 6-1 to conquer his first (and only) title of the season.
Del Potro commented “Last year I played some of my best tennis in Sydney and it is the perfect way to start the year,”
Juan Martin has been almost 1 year away from competitions and he is now ranked no. 138. His comeback will start from Brisbane (3rd of January).
