Elina Svitolina and Naomi Osaka are the about to start their season leading the draw in Brisbane.

The top seeds of the WTA edition of the Brisbane International are Svitolina, Osaka, Stephens, Kvitova, Karolina Pliskova, Bertens, Kasatkina, and Sevastova.

The defending champion is Svitolina that last year defeated Sasnovich in the final.
