Novak Djokovic starts the new season with a very convincing win over Karen Khachanov in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi (6-4 6-2).
Nole looked perfect to control the match from the beginning with end avenging (in a way) his loss to the Russian in the final of the recent ATP1000 in Paris.

Nole admitted that the new generation is there to challenge the dominance of the old guard (Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic himself) to comment
“So far Top 3 guys have been able to keep their positions for many years but the face of tennis is changing. You have more challenges from the younger generation and it is good. As a fan, I salute that change.
