WATCH. Paula Badosa plays with a ball boy during in Miami

Paula Badosa played with a ball boy when Laura Siegemund disappeared mid-match, bringing the ball boy into the limelight.

Paula Badosa And The Ball Boy

Paula Badosa played with a BALL BOY when Laura Siegemund vanished mid-match. The 25-year-old Spanish ace faced Laura Siegemund in the Miami Open’s second round.

When Siegemund lost the first set and needed to use the restroom, she had an 11-minute pause. After falling behind Badosa 3-0 in the third set decider, the German requested that the trainer work on her strapped left leg.

The physio took forever to show up, and once she did, they whisked her off the court to boos so that she could be taped privately. But that left. As the minutes passed, Badosa became confused as she waited calmly by the court.

Paula sprang up from her chair and began dropping tennis balls that she could easily swat away. She could, however, use one of the ball kids, according to the chair umpire. And that brought the ball boy into the limelight. The big, amiable guy jogged to the back of the court and then joined the 2021 Indian Wells winner in an astonishing rally.
