Andy Murray and Naomi Osaka are drawing a lot of attention in Australia for different reasons.
Murray
Ranked no. 256, Andy has been sidelined for more than 1 year (since Wimbledon 2017) by his hip injury, and eventually, he decided to have an operation early this year in Melbourne.
Murray has hip operation and he is targeting Wimbledon to get back
The former world no.1 hasn’t managed to complete his comeback in 2018, but he seems to be rather optimistic ahead of the new season, and he was moving freely during today’s training.
The fans are eager to see if the Brit can follow the notable examples of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic that stunned the tennis community with their spectacular comebacks.
Osaka
After a surprising 2018, the US Open champion is expected to confirm the progress she has made in the last season. The sponsors rushed to endorse Naomi (eg. Adidas), but the Japanese need to stay calm and keep her stellar 2018 standards.
