Bad news from Laura Robson’s camp as the former world no.27 will not be play the Australian Open.
What has happened?
Laura has been struggling for more than 1 year with her left wrist to practically miss the entire 2014. We were all expecting Laura to be back in full strength in 2015, but we might be disappointed once again.
Robson’s camp: We will not rush Laura
Max Eisenbud, Robson’s manager, commented ‘She is making really good progress but a lot will depend on how her wrist is feeling and her level of play in practice,. are committed to take our time and will not rush back, we might even delay her return.
I learned a lot of lessons with Maria Sharapova’s shoulder injury and we will not rush Laura.”
At least she can relax
