“I was in total panic,” says Martina Navratilova who is cancer free!

Martina Navratilova, a tennis icon, has declared herself cancer-free. Navratilova revealed her breast and throat cancer diagnoses at the start of January. Navratilova was fortunate to catch the illness at a very early stage, and thanks to a successful treatment response from her body, she is now cancer-free.

As reported by The Guardian, Navratilova told Piers Morgan: “As far as they know, I’m cancer-free. “I was in a total panic for three days thinking I may not see next Christmas.”

How Martina Navratilova understood she had a problem

During the WTA Finals last year, Navratilova became aware of a problem with her neck. Martina revealed: “I noticed that my left lymph node was enlarged and I thought it was from a shingles vaccine I’d had a week before. But then a couple of weeks on it didn’t go down so I called the doctor.”
