Federer, Hewitt introduce innovating scoring system

Roger and Lleyton will play in Sydney in January the 12th

At 33 years of age each Roger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt still want to experiment new things in tennis.

New Scoring System

The two friends will play an exhibition in Sydney with a completely new scoring system. The match will be played on a best of 5 sets with the following variations:

No advantage system
No service lets
Tiebreakers at 3-all
Sets of first to four games

This new format will be initiated by Tennis Australia and it will hopefully help players at club level to fit with their busy schedules.

Head to head

Roger and Lleyton have played each other 27 times so far. Head to head is 18-9 for Roger, but Hewitt has won the last one in the Brisbane final.
