There is a huge controversy in the tennis world right now after Justin Gimelstob was arrested for assaulting a venture capitalist.
After the news of the event became public, more episodes of violent behavior from Gimelstob
ATP needs to do something about this. HEWITT
Lleyton Hewitt didn’t like what happened to say that the ATP should “lead by example and do something about this.”
Hewitt is arrogant. ISNER
According to the ESPN, the world no.10 John Isner, that is very close to Gimelstob commented
“I don’t think Gimelstob should take a leave right now. We don’t know the facts yet. Hewitt doesn’t know the facts, either.
He’s the guy who was involved in his own nasty situation with James Blake, and I’m not calling for his head, or for him to step down from working with Tennis Australia.

The Hewitt-Blake controversy
Isner dug an episode from the past when Hewitt (he was 20) had a racial remark during a match at the US Open against James Blake after he was foot-faulted twice by a black linesman on crucial points in the third set.
The Australian commented
“Look at him [the linesman] and tell me what the similarity is [with Blake]. I want him off the court. I’ve only been foot-faulted at one end. Look at what he’s done.”
That wasn’t great from Lleyton, but it was 17 years ago and there is no correlation with what has happened with Gimelstob.
