Nole wanted to end up his magnificent run at the World Tour Finals in style after practically demolishing everyone. Unfortunately the Serbian couldn’t win the Great Finale against Roger on the court as the Maestro had to pull out for a (now famous) back injury.

It is all true. Definitely Djokovic would have preferred to get the trophy after a hard fought match (same as he did last year), but at the end of the day Nole has won $980.000 without playing at all… it was awkward… but still…
