Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas will be the top seeds at the ATP 1000 event in Indian Wells, but Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will not participate.

Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas will be the top seeds of the upcoming ATP 1000 event that is about to be staged in Indian Wells. Unfortunately, the local crowd will not enjoy the presence of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. Novak Djokovic will not participate in the tournament because he is unvaccinated for COVID-19, and therefore, he cannot enter USA territory. Rafael Nadal is still recovering from the hip injury he suffered during the Australian Open, and he is due to come back to competition only on the occasion of the clay-court season.
