Matteo Berrettini had a rather rough day on Thursday when he was facing Holger Rune in the Acapulco quarterfinal. The Italian player was clearly struggling with a leg injury, and eventually he had to pull out. However, that came soon after a long rain break, and the crowd did not appreciate that after waiting for the match to resume.
Matteo was heavily booed soon after announcing his retirement. Here is the video.
