BOUCHARD
Genie had a great season to finally break in the top 10 after winning a tournament, reaching the finals in Wimbledon and Wuhan, and the semis in Melbourne and at the Roland Garros. For this reason Genie has been nominated for the Most Improved Player of the year award.
SHARAPOVA
Maria had a great season to have completely recovered from all her injuries. Now world no.2, Maria has been nominated for the Comeback Player. In 2014 Sharapova has won a slam (Paris) and 3 other major tournaments (Stuttgart, Madrid and Beijing)
