Carlos Alcaraz was not able to play in Acapulco, still struggling with his hamstring injury. The Spanish sensation released the following statement on social media, explaining the nature of his injury.
“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play in @AbiertoTelcel. I have a grade 1 strain in my right hamstring that will keep me out for several days, according to the tests we did this morning.”

Carlito has been struggling with the specific injury since the beginning of the season. The 19-year-old could not compete during the Australian summer, and it is not a good indication that he is not recovered yet. There are obvious doubts about his participation in the tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami.
