Carlos Alcaraz has just played back-to-back finals in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. After winning the tournament in Argentina, Carlito could not defend his title in Brazil also because he was struggling with his leg. His leg injury prevented Alcaraz from playing during the Australian summer, and therefore, there is some concern about the opportunity to compete this week in Acapulco, where the Spanish teenager is seeded number 1. Apparently, Carlito needs to make the decision.
This is the latest draw. Alcaraz is supposed to face McDonaldo= in the first round.

LWWWWWWWWW Now ranked no.2, the Spaniard played his last encounter on the 26th of February when he was overcome by world no.13 Cameron Norrie 5-7 6-4 7-5 in the final in Rio De Janeiro (draw).
Currently, during this season Alcaraz has managed to achieve a composed 8-1 record. This year, the Spaniard won 1 title in Buenos Aires. The Spaniard got to the final in Rio de Janeiro.
He is also scheduled to play in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open). The main draw will start on the 8th of March.
