Elena Rybakina explains why she is not able to compete in Dubai

Injured Rybakina Out From Dubai

Elena Rybakina was meant to face Coco Gauff in a blockbuster third-round match in Dubai. However, that could not happen since the Kazakhstani had to withdraw because of a lower back injury. Elena posted the following message on Instagram.

“Unfortunately today I had to withdraw from the @ddftennis singles and doubles draws due to a lower back injury. I’m sure I will be able to recover soon and be ready for us swing. Can’t wait to be back here in Dubai next year!
Thank you for all the support”
