Terrible news for the tennis world as former world no. 72 Daniele Bracciali admitted to be involved in match fixing.
The news came from Roberto di Martino (the prosecutor) that told The Associate Press that ”He admitted a few things and he denied a few things”
Bracciali and Starace are under investigation after some conversations over Skype (we go back to 2007).
Apparently this investigation is part of a broader operation that has started with soccer. Di Martino commented ”The reality is it’s the same story as with the football case. It’s reached a level where it’s all over the world.”
Let’s hope it will end there.
