The draw of the WTA250 in Merida is out. The top 2 seeds are Magda Linette and Sloane Stephens, but it will be interesting to see how American rising star Alycia Parks will perform after she won’t her title in Lyon.

Magda Linette in 2023

Now the world no.21 (career-high), the Pole played her last match on the 26^th of January when she capitulated to world no.2 Aryna Sabalenka 7-6(1) 6-2 in the semifinal of the Australian Open (draw).

Currently, during this season Linette has achieved a composed 8-3 record. Magda Linette’s most significant result of this season was getting to the semifinal in Australia and at the Australian Open.

Linette has scheduled to compete next in Merida (Merida Open Akron). She will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 20th of February.

Alycia Parks in 2023

51 (career-high), Parks played her last match on the 8^th of February when she capitulated to world no.33 Anhelina Kalinina 6-2 7-5 in the 1^st round in Linz (draw).

Until now, during this year Parks has managed to achieve an overall 6-2 match record. Parks clinched 1 title in Lyon.

Parks is scheduled to play next in Merida (Merida Open Akron). She will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 20th of February.
