Holger Rune is not enjoying this short indoor season in Europe. The Danish player had to withdraw in Rotterdam after struggling with a nasty wrist injury that was preventing him from properly hitting his serve and forehand. Probably, Holger’s injury originated at the Australian Open, where he had a horrible fall.
Apparently, Holger mother revealed on Danish channel TV 2 Sport that her son will not play in Marseille, saying: “We have to have this wrist injury 100% under control. He can’t serve properly or hit forehand.”
