Without ever setting foot on a tennis court, Novak Djokovic will set a new record pretty soon. He will become the tennis player, regardless of gender, who has dominated the tours (ATP or WTA) for the longest on February 27, even before making his debut at the Dubai Open 500.

On Monday, February 20, the Serbian surpass German Steffi Graf (the WTA legend) for the most weeks (378) as the leader of the rankings.

In this time frame, it is impossible for Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas to pass Djokovic in the world rankings.

Ranked world no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 29^th

of January when he overcame world no.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 7-6(4) 7-6(5) in the final of the Australian Open to win his 93^rd career title.

This year Novak achieved a compiled 12-0 match record. The Serbian has won 2 titles in 2023 in Adelaide and Australian Open.

Djokovic is scheduled to play next in Dubai (Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 27th of February.
