Novak Djokovic warns Stefanos Tsitsipas: “I am ready to go to 5 sets”

Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas will face off in the Australian Open semi-finals. The Serbian Champion has been dealing with a nasty hamstring injury that has not prevented him from reaching the last chapter of the first slam of the year.

The Serbian Champion has been dealing with a nasty hamstring injury that has not prevented him from reaching the last chapter of the first slam of the year. On the other side, Stefanos Tsitsipas appears to be in perfect physical condition. During the press conference that followed his semi-final, Novak Djokovic confirmed that he is more than ready to go the distance if that is required.

“He is going to be really motivated, and he is playing well. You can see the progress. But I know what to do tactically; I have played some of my best matches in Melbourne. I am ready to go to distance: if it’s five sets, then it’s five sets; if it’s five hours, then five hours. I am looking forward to it,” said Djokovic.
