Nick Kyrgios is now recovering from his knee operation. Therefore, the Australian player had some time on his hands to answer Q&A questions. During an exchange on Instagram, Nick said that he would like to coach and mentor Holger Rune. Obviously, that will not happen also because the Danish teenager is currently coached by Patrick Mouratoglou. Nevertheless, it was worth noticing Kyrgios’s interest in Holger.

Now ranked no.21, Kyrgios played his last match on the 6th of October 2022 when he overcame world no.95 Kamil Majchrzak 3-6 6-2 6-2 in the 2nd round in Tokyo (draw).
This season the Australian has managed to achieve a compiled 37-10 record.
Holger Rune in 2023
Currently the world no.10 (career-high), Rune played his last match on the 23rd of January when he lost to world no.6 Andrey Rublev 6-3 3-6 6-3 4-6 7-6(9) in the 4th round of the Australian Open (draw).
This season the Dane has achieved a compiled 3-2 match record.
He is also scheduled to play in Rotterdam (ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament) after Montpellier. The main draw will start on the 6th of February.
