Elena Rybakina: ‘My coach says I need to show more emotions’

Elena Rybakina has reached the final at the Australian Open for the second year in a row. Many noticed that while Elena keeps on maintaining her composure, her coach, Stefano Vukov, is rather animated during her matches.

Rybakina And Coach

Elena Rybakina surprised many fans last year when she didn’t seem even excited soon after winning Wimbledon. The Kazakhstani player has now reached the final at the Australian Open as well. Many noticed that while Elena keeps on maintaining her composure, her coach, Stefano Vukov, is rather animated during her matches. During the on-court interview that Rybakina gave soon after defeating Iga Swiatek in Melbourne, Elena confessed that her coach would be pleased to see her showing more emotions.

“Of course I’m nervous,” she said. “My coach [Stefano Vukov] is saying I actually need to show my emotions sometimes, so I am also learning.”
