During the 5th set, Holger Rune lost his patience with his coaching team, asking them not to talk anymore during the match.
After the match, Holger Rune explained why he wanted them to be silent during the press conference. He said that he wanted to keep his focus on the court.

Now the world no.10 (career-high), the Dane played his last match on the 23rd of January when he surrendered to world no.6 Andrey Rublev 6-3 3-6 6-3 4-6 7-6(9) in the 4th round of the Australian Open (draw).
At present, during this year Rune owns a composed 3-2 win-loss record.
He is also scheduled to play in Rotterdam (ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament) after Montpellier. The main draw will start on the 6th of February.
