Back in 2022, in the third round of the Australian Open, No. 15 Elina Svitolina was defeated by Victoria Azarenka in straight sets.

However, after his mother’s significant victory, it was her son Leo who stole the show. In attendance at the Friday post-match press conference was the 5-year-old daughter of the two-time Australian Open champion. When speaking with the media, the pair dressed in complementary shades.

Leo appeared content to be sitting quietly on his mother’s knee, but both he and his mother were taken aback when a reporter asked him the first question. “Leo, how did mommy play today?” the journalist asked. “Awesome!” he replied.

That was cute.
