Coco Gauff was widely considered one of the top favourites to win the Australian Open. The American sensation appears to be in great form in Melbourne. However, she was upset by an ever-dangerous Jelena Ostapenko in the fourth round on Sunday.
Coco was in clear distress during the following press conference to burst into tears. Coco commented:
“I still feel like I’ve improved a lot. But when you play a player like her and she plays really well, there’s nothing you can do. Every match you play a part in, but I feel like it was rough. So it’s a little bit frustrating on that part.”
