Sebastian is part of a family of great athletes. His father, Petr, was a rather well-known tennis player who won the 1998 Australian Open and was ranked no.2. in the world. His mother was also playing tennis at a professional level, and she achieved the world number 26 ranking.

Sebastian has 2 sisters who are also top professional golf players. Nelly reached number one in the Women’s World Golf Rankings. His older sister, Jessica, was 6.

During the on-court interview that followed his match against Medvedev, Sebastian who is currently ranked number 31 made everyone laugh saying that he is the worst athlete in his family. That was quick loans already coming back interesting
