Marin Cilic and Ajla Tomljanovic were unable to compete in the recent Australian Open because of a knee injury. Eventually, both of them announced that they decided to undergo an operation.

This was Ajla post on social media:

“Update! This morning I had a minor procedure done on my knee that went very well. Sadly I won’t be around the next few months, but I’m Happy I did the necessary steps to get fully healthy Great things take time and rehab starts very soon! I can’t wait to get back out there «Ad Appreciate all your sweet messages and words of support, doesn’t go unnoticed ** Ajla”
