Novak Djokovic has been nursing a tricky hamstring injury that is preventing him from competing at his very best. Novak Djokovic won the second round against the world no.191 Enzo Couacaud 6-1 6-75 6-2 6-0, but his condition looked precarious.
During the press conference that followed his second-round match, Djokovic confirmed that he is worried about his injury:
“I am worried. I mean, I cannot say that I’m not. I have reason to be worried,” said Novak”
“But at the same time I have to accept the circumstances and try to adjust myself with my team. My physio and medical team has been doing everything possible so that I can be able to play every match.”

Ranked world no.5, Djokovic achieved a composed 7-0 record in 2023. Novak is now having a run at the Australian Open where he overcame the world no.75 Roberto Carballes Baena 6-3 6-4 6-0 and the world no.191 Enzo Couacaud 6-1 6-75 6-2 6-0.
