Fabio Fognini, one of the most ill-tempered (let’s say also “ill-mannered”) players on tour, received a rather good treatment from the ATP to be fined only $2000 for his horrible behavior in Shanghai.

The controversial Italian has shown one again the middle finger to a paying crowd (this time in Shanghai, before in Paris) after even pushing his opponent soon after shaking hands at the net (see article)

Fognini is not new about be fined. This year in Wimbledon he was fined a total $27.500 unsportsmanlike conduct. The Italian comment was “I do not care” (see article

)

Time for the ATP to step in a little more seriously? We start to think that the guy is even proud of what he is doing!
