Rafael Nadal is a man of habits and he doesn’t like too many different variables. Some time ago the Spanish legend expressed his unhappiness about the fact that different tennis balls are adopted in back to back tournaments.
Today after winning in the 3rd round against Peter Gojowczyk, Rafa said he was rather unhappy about the tennis balls adopted.
Rafa: The ball is so bad here
Nadal commented ”The ball is so bad here. you throw the ball on the floor, the bounce goes everywhere. Is not a question of winning or losing. I won in Rio with this ball. It’s just that we’re competing at the top level of our sport, tennis, and the ball is an important thing.”
The balls in question are manufactured by Head that has the right to change the type of balls to adopt for each tournament according to an approved list.
