Tough time for David Ferrer that has definitely lost his tennis in the last few tournaments. It seemed as the Spaniard was recovering from a not great year after reaching the final in Cincinnati, but apparently he will remain only with 1 title this year (the 250ATP in Buenos Aires).
David has lost the last 3 matches against players there were not even in the top30 (Simon, Troicki and Granollers).
In his match against Granollers David lost his focus after winning the first set to finally succumb 4-6 6-4 6-4. Match Stats.
After the match David commented “I lost my focus in the second set. I have not been playing well recently and have got on a bad run of results.”
Next stop Shanghai… hoping it will be better.
