Naomi Osaka keeps on hitting the headlines and not for her results on court but for her Ventures. The Japanese sensation has founded an agency, Evolve, to manage athletes. After signing Nick Kyrgios, she also secured and management contract with Ons Jabeur.
Naomi Osaka released the following statement on social media.
“Mini story : I first met Ons at the WTA rising stars event in 2015 and my immediate thought while interacting with her was, “wow she’s the nicest person I’ve ever met”. I was extremely shy so all I could ever do was mumble out a few words but she always came up to me, cracked jokes and made me feel more comfortable. Even now when we play the same tournaments she still does the same. That type of kindness is something that I’ll never forget and I think moments like that are what define your character. Over the years watching her rise through the tour and become the star that she is has been incredibly joyful to watch and I can’t wait to see her create more history and ascend even higher.

Jabeur in Adelaide, ranking, and results in 2023
LWLLLLLWLW Now the world no.2 (career-high), Ons has managed to achieve a compiled 1-0 match record in 2023. Ons is participating in Adelaide where she ousted the world no.45 Sorana Cirstea 7-63 6-1.
Ons Jabeur will compete against the world no.69 Marta Kostyuk in the quarter on Friday at 6:30 pm on SHOWCOURT 1. They have never played each other up to now in top events.
She is also scheduled to play at the Australian Open (Australian Open). The main draw will start on the 16th of January.
Naomi Osaka in 2023
Currently the world no.42, Naomi played her last match on the 20th of September 2022 when she had to retire when playing against world no.53 Daria Gavrilova in the 1st round and the scoreline was 1-0 .
During this season the Japanese achieved a composed 14-9 record.
Osaka is scheduled to compete next at the Australian Open (Australian Open). She will start from the main draw that will commence on the 16th of January.
Ons Jabeur and Naomi Osaka fought against each other only once. Their actual head to head record is 1-0 for Osaka. When they played, Naomi Osaka won 6-3 6-2 in the 3rd round in Melbourne (Australian Open) in February 2021.
