Serena Williams had another weird episode in Wuhan that was similar as the one suffered in Wimbledon (see article). At the Championship the world no.1 had to retire while playing with her sister Venus in doubles, now she has to surrender in China after leading 6-5 against Alize Cornet.
Serena was eager to seek revenge against Alize that has upset her twice this year (Dubai and Wimbledon), but that wasn’t possible as the American was suddenly feeling dizzy to ask for a medical time-out at the end of the 1st set. Unfortunately Williams wasn’t able to play again to handle the match to Alize.
Let’s hope it isn’t anything serious.
