Novak Djokovic may not play again in the ATP 1010 in Indian Wells and Miami. After a rather steep increase in COVID cases in China, the United States decided to strengthen border control, and they are asking again for proof of a full vaccination against COVID-19. The effective date will be January 9th, and its expiration date will be April 10th. Since the Sunshine Double (Indian Wells and Miami) will take place in March, if nothing changes, Novak Djokovic will not be able to play both tournaments unless there is a special exemption.

Djokovic could not play in both tournaments already in 2021 for the same reason.
