Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper are going to be the faces of British tennis, according to Anne Keothavong.
After Raducanu, 20, struggled with injuries last season, the former British No. 1 is eager to see her “fit and healthy” again in 2023. The former No. 1 also believes “explosive” Jack Draper will continue to advance after climbing to the top 50 in the world.
“We can be equally excited for Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu. They’re both great prospects. Emma has already shown us what she is about. She’s already a Grand Slam champion,” Keothavong commented.
“No one is taking that away from her. This year is very difficult for her, but it was her first full year on tour, and there is still a lot to learn. 2023 will be even better for her. We have seen what she is capable of, that doesn’t just disappear overnight. She needs to be able to find her groove and be allowed to develop.”

Jack Draper will fight against the world no.20 Karen Khachanov in the 2nd round. Their head to head is 1-0 for Khachanov.
