Bad news from the French camp as Gael Monfils may not play the Davis Cup final against Federer and Wawrinka.
Gael has been struggling with his knee for some time and apparently things got worse after reaching the semifinal in Metz (he lost to Sousa).
After the match against the Portuguese Gael commented “The knee is bad. I will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.”
Monfils is still scheduled to play in Tokyo and Shanghai, but things might be clearer after the MRI.
