Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios are having a rather complicated relationship after their clash in Wimbledon. On that occasion, Stefanos Tsitsipas was extremely upset with Nick Kyrgios’s behavior after losing to the Australian player. Stefanos called Nick “a bully,” while Kyrgios said he is “soft.”
Nick Kyrgios had a surprising retirement from the United Cup just a few hours before the beginning of the competition. While the official explanation is that the Australian player has been struggling with an injury, many believe that he is just not interested in competing for his country.
Soon after his retirement, Nick Kyrgios published on Instagram a video showing off him enjoying a day off in Sydney, almost hinting that he does not really care about not competing in the United Cup.
Stefanos Tsitsipas was not surprised with his decision to comment: “It is not a surprise, I hope he enjoys his holidays.”

Now ranked no.4, Stefanos played his last match on the 18th of November when he surrendered to world no.8 Andrey Rublev 3-6 6-3 6-2 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw)

Until now, during this year Kyrgios has achieved an overall 37-10 match record. This year, Nick conquered 1 tournament in Washington. The Australian reached the final in Wimbledon.
He is also scheduled to play in Australian Open (Australian Open) after Adelaide. The main draw will start on the 9th of January.
