Alex De Minaur and Nick Kyrgios will represent Australia in the upcoming United Cup that will kick start on the 29th of December. Alex is well known to be more than eager to defend the colours of his country.
“For me, there is no greater honor than to represent your country,” said Alex during a recent interview. “It’s another chance, another opportunity to do everything I can to hopefully get a win for Australia. I’ll make sure I’m ready to go and ready to give it my all.”
Australia has been placed in an impressive Group D for the round-robin stage of the mixed-team competition, along with Spain and Great Britain. After missing the recent Davis Cup, Nick Kyrgios will also play in the United Cup alongside Ajla Tomljanovic, Alex de Minaur, Zoe Hives, Jason Kubler, Maddison Inglis, John Peers, and Sam Stosur.

Ranked world no.24, De Minaur played his last match on the 27th of November when he lost to world no.6 Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3 6-4 in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).
Presently, during this year De Minaur has achieved a compiled 47-25 win-loss record. This year, the Australian clinched 1 title in Atlanta.
De Minaur has scheduled to play next in Australian Open (Australian Open). He will start to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 16th of January.
Nick Kyrgios in 2022
Ranked world no.22, Nick played his last match on the 6th of October when he overcame world no.77 Kamil Majchrzak 3-6 6-2 6-2 in the 2nd round in Tokyo (draw).
At the moment, during this season Nick achieved a compiled 37-10 win-loss record. This year, Nick won 1 tournament in Washington. Kyrgios was the finalist in Wimbledon.
He is also scheduled to play in Australian Open (Australian Open) after Adelaide. The main draw will start on the 9th of January.
