The pair were two of many famous athletes from different sports who invested in the developing craze that blends ping pong, badminton, and tennis. LeBron James of the NBA and NFL veteran Tom Brady are among the adoring owners of pickleball clubs.
Kyrgios challenged them on Instagram, saying he would beat Brady and James, who own franchises in the league, and announced that he would be partnering with Naomi Osaka in Miami. He said, “We’re coming for you.”
