Nick Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic have always had a rather tormented relationship. Bernard was a huge prospect for Australian tennis, but he failed to deliver. Kyrgios appeared to follow Tomic’s path, but he eventually found his own way to even reach the Wimbledon final in 2022.

Australian Open wildcards

Tennis Australia has recently announced the wildcards that will be awarded to Australian players for the main draw of the first slam of the season. It was not much of a surprise to notice that Bernard Tomic was not part of them because of the troubled relationship with Tennis Australia.

A tennis fan commented on Twitter that Bernard Tomic deserved to be awarded a wild card. Surprisingly, Nick Kyrgios entered the conversation, saying that he did not deserve it.
