Stefanos Tsitsipas had a rather encouraging preseason in the Middle East after winning the prestigious Mubadala World Tennis Championship. The Greek sensation decided to stay in the region before going to Australia, where he will play in the United Cup alongside Maria Sakkari.

Now ranked no.4, the Greek played his last match on the 18th of November when he lost to world no.8 Andrey Rublev 3-6 6-3 6-2 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
Presently, during this year Stefanos achieved a compiled 61-24 win-loss record. Tsitsipas conquered 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and Mallorca. Tsitsipas was the runner-up in Rotterdam, Rome, Cincinnati, Astana and Stockholm.
Tsitsipas is scheduled to compete next in Australian Open (Australian Open). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 16th of January.
