Emma Raducanu Training With Her New Coach

Emma Raducanu has hired Sebastian Sachs as her new coach on a trial basis. The British sensation has been struggling for more than one year and I are off to have some stability with her coaching team.

Coach Sebastian Sachs, according to Emma Raducanu, is “a calm influence,” and they are currently in a trial period. At the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi this past Friday, Raducanu, 20, announced Sachs as her new coach.

Belinda Bencic, who won gold at the Olympics in Tokyo, was a client of Sachs’ in the past. Before deciding definitively on Sachs, Raducanu will need more time, but so far, so good.

“We are trialing until the end of the year and just seeing how it goes really. It’s been going well. I’ve done a week with him so far and I think he’s a really calm influence. He’s on it, switched on, and yeah, I’m excited to see how it goes,” she said.

Emma is currently in Singapore, where she will spend a few days before heading to  Australia.
