Emma Raducanu hired yet another coach on a trial basis. The British sensation decided to partner with Sebastian Sachs, who used to coach Belinda Bencic. Emma was hopeful to have found stability with her former coach, Dmitry Tursunov, a few months ago. However, the Russian coach decided to leave her camp to partner with Belinda Bencic.
Sebastian Sachs worked with Julia Gorges of Germany and former world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka in addition to guiding Belinda Bencic to an Olympic gold medal last year.
Talking about her new partnership, and Emma commented:
“Yeah, we are trialing until the end of the year. Just seeing how it goes really. It has been going really well so far. I have only done a week with him. He’s a really calm influence. He is on it, switched on and excited to see how it goes.”
