Casper is extremely appreciated for his dedication and sportsmanship. The Norwegian player has just won the prestigious ATP Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award breaking the dominance of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, who won this award for the last 17 years (Federer won it 17 times, Nadal 4).
Casper released the following statement: “A big thanks to everyone who voted for me for this year’s ATP Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award. I feel very, very honoured and happy to win this prize this year. I will try to keep my mood in the right place for next year. Can’t wait to be back on court.”
