Lorenzo Musetti, Dominic Thiem and Diego Schwartzman will compete in the Rio Open in 2023. The prestigious ATP500 event will be staged on the week of the 20th of February. The defending champion is Carlos Alcaraz, who defeated Diego Schwartzman in the final.

Dominic Thiem in 2022

Currently the world no.103, Dominic played his last match on the 27^th of October when he capitulated to world no.7 Daniil Medvedev 6-3 6-3

in the 2^nd round in Vienna (draw).

At present, during this year Thiem has a 23-19 record. Dominic Thiem’s best performance of the present season was reaching the final in the Rennes Challenger.

Diego Schwartzman in 2022

Ranked world no.25, Schwartzman played his last match on the 31^st of October when he was overcome by world no.34 Maxime Cressy 6-3 6-3 in the 1^st round in Paris (draw).

Currently, during this season the Argentine has a 31-26 record. Diego Schwartzman’s most significant result of this season was getting to the final in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro.
