Nick Kyrgios and his girlfriend Costeen Hatzi went briefly to Mexico for an exhibition last month. However, she has just announced that she had a bad experience after suffering from a kidney infection.
“I had a fever on the flight and ended up going straight to emergency when we landed. I had a kidney infection,” Costeen revealed on social media.“Luckily the tennis association and hospital staff were so extremely caring and helpful. But it was a little scary being so sick in a whole different country. The tacos were amazing though.”
In November, Kyrgios attended the Tennis Showdown in Mexico. He competed in a last-minute exhibition match against Cameron Norrie of Great Britain. The match, which was originally scheduled for September 2021 but was postponed twice, ended with Kyrgios defeating Norrie 6-4 6-4.

Ranked no.22, Nick played his last match on the 6th of October when he beat world no.77 Kamil Majchrzak 3-6 6-2 6-2 in the 2nd round in Tokyo (draw).
This year the Australian has a compiled 37-10 win-loss record. This year, Nick won 1 tournament in Washington. The Australian got to the final in Wimbledon.
