Rafael Nadal is already missing his dear friend Roger Federer and in a way he seems to be willing to get his legacy. The Spanish sensation has just won the prestigious ATP Fans’ Favorite Award after Roger Federer conquered the recognition for 19 consecutive years.
Rafael Nadal will be back to competitions on the occasion of the United Cup that will be played in Australia from the 29th of December. In the meantime, the world number 2 has been training at his Academy. He was caught trying a one-handed backhand like his dear friend Roger Federer. The result was most probably not that great. At the moment ranked no.2, Rafael played his last match on the 17th of November when he beat world no.3 Casper Ruud 7-5 7-5 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
At present, during this year Nadal has achieved a 39-8 match record. Rafael clinched 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, Australian Open, Acapulco and French Open. Rafael was the runner-up in Indian Wells.
